Truant Alternative Program

The Truant Alternative Programs of the ROE assist local school districts in understanding, preventing and resolving truancy cases in an effort to bring about regular school attendance. Staff members of the ROE also work with the state agencies and public officials to stimulate ideas for the improvement of truancy procedures, which could preclude individuals from being classified as truant.
